The first gastronomic oaked rose wine from Greece
Rose de Xinomavro
Thimiopoulos is considered to be one of the most talented winemakers in Greece. Focusing entirely on Xinomavro in the region of Naoussa he was the first to produce a gastronomic oaked rose wine that could age for at least 5 years after the vintage.
- Medium salmon color. Fragrant and complex nose of quince, rose petals, red fruits and a hint of tomato jam and spice.
- Full bodied rose, with a small amount of residual sugars balanced by the refreshing acidity and nice integration of oak (3 months of maturation).
- One of the few rose wines that can age, reaching its peak at 4-5 years of cellaring.
